Muslim nations must break silence over Burma issue

In occupied Kashmir, a meeting of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) was held, today, in which representatives and members from Shopian participated.The party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah addressing the meeting urged the New Delhi to shun prejudicial approach and resolve Kashmir dispute at the earliest to bring peace in South Asia. He also highlighted and lauded the continued role of Pakistan vis-à-vis Kashmir dispute and said: “We are not struggling for any material gains but for a great and noble cause”.

Expressing deep grief and sorrow over the plight of Muslims in Burma, he questioned the role of international media and human rights organizations. “Why are these media and human rights organizations silent over the massacre of Muslims in Burma who are being persecuted in their own country? The Muslims nations must break their criminal silence over the issue and come to rescue to their Burmese brethren”, h maintained.
