We have travelled for almost a month in Myanmar and we spent no more than 600€, so it is pretty cheap.
You can eat easily for 4 €, tickets for 1 and activities for 1-2 €.
Normally, the accommodation is pretty cheap, the only hotel that we spent a bit more was in Mandalay, Golden Hotel Mandalay, but I can say it was worth it.
Myanmar is an incredible country that is still not tourist, this is the main reason why it´s so authentic.

Great. What about food, accommodation etc.?
Hi! Let me answer your question. There are backpacker's hostels that only cost at around $7 to $10. There are also budget accommodation at around $15. Here are few suggestions in Mandalay:

Yoe Yoe Lay Homestay- this inn prides itself for being backpacker and LGBT friendly accommodation in Mandalay. It has a lot more to be proud of, since it provides a wide of services, some of which are not even available in bigger hotels, including wheelchair friendly premises, private parking, tea & coffee making facilities, board games, foosball, and more. There are two types of rooms- Dorm Beds and Private Rooms. The former can be booked for around $15 and the latter for $35 per night. It is located between 35 and 36 Street.

Four Rivers B&B- this Bed&Breakfast is located a little bit further from the city center, giving it a sense of calm and serene environment compared to the hotels located in the downtown. Its address is 82nd Street, a little more than 2 km from the Mandalay City center. It has 14 guestrooms, a rooftop terrace, and a bike rental service. Prices for an over-night stay start at $20.

Hotel A1- this hostel is located in downtown Mandalay, at the corner of 32nd and 83rd Street. It has its own restaurant and bar, and offers a bike and shuttle renting services. Due to its location, visiting Mandalay’s attractions is made much easier. The rates start at $20.
