Burmese Military back to Barrack (7-7-1962)

Post by Nyinway » Sun Nov 16, 2014 3:38 pm

I am so glad President Obama had announce Military involvement in politics in Myanmar needs to be stop completely. When Myanmar first attain independence from British rule, it is genuine civilian rule and the military stays at where they belong………..barrack. It all started by then military commander General Ne Win coup and over throw the democratically elected civilian government and rule Burma with marshal law and dictatorship till to this day. The military do not go back to the barrack but instead stay at the Parliament as 25% members together with their puppets, USDP military civilian stooges that acts like rubber stamps for the military. I still do not believe the current quasi civilian government is genuine in reforms. They are actually goats in a sheep skin.
http://www.mizzima.com/mizzima-news/pol ... litics-mps
There is no such thing as a Military Democracy at all. Burmese military must realized that military mingling in politics is out dated and obsolete and does not work in the 21st Century democracy. Military do its job which is military affairs and nothing to do with civilian affairs. Burma is trying to mix military and politics which is like mixing apples and oranges. Apple is Apple, Orange is Orange. They are 2 different categories and cannot, willnot mix. It looks so awkward and disgusting to see military officers in any parliament. One never ever see a military general in US Congress mingling with lawmakers which is NOT their field or profession. What a bunglee joke that is.
Burma is already facing problems now and believe me it is just a start for there are many more problems awaiting to occur.
I’ve been telling many times and will say it again. Burmese military MUST go back to where they belong………..Barrack and NOT Parliament for Parliament is NOT their place or profession. Watch, dictatorship will occur again in Burma sooner or later if the Generals don’t get the state power anymore. They are already resisting the people's demand and wish to change the constitution. Military Generals do not respect or adhere democratic rules so how can they be Presidents or Vice Presidents of democracy? They can only fool stupid people but not the smart people.
Thailand already ruled by military regime so Burma who has decades of experience in military regimes will go back again IF the Generals goes under the Civilian Rule. Military is not use to living under the Civilian which they look down and had no respect whatsoever.
Burma cannot, will not make it if the Military mingling with politics and did not go back to the Barrack!

Blunt Example………………..
Burmese Military is like a Butcher who chop up meat in a Bazaar trying to perform a Brain Surgery in the Hospital as a Surgeon specializing in Brain.

I told you so. The Burmese military will never relinquish their grip on power no matter what. Look at the picture. Is this what you call democracy? These are actual military men mingling with Burmese costume civilian puppets of Military so in the end, the real power remains the same…….In military hands. Burmese civilian people will never taste the true democratic values and benefits as long as the military interfere in politics. It will take another 50 years for cleaning up of military remnants that is still inside the political parliament.
Only fools will believe Burma is on the democratic path. I think Burma is in a psychological path. What kind of a parliament with military officers acting like rubber stamps.
No wonder Burmese military cannot defend their nation against China or even Bangladesh.

http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/military ... hange.html

The people wants change and yet the military and their stooges still lingers on to hold their grip on power. Here we go again, read the links. As usual since the 1960s, they are still giving excuse of danger of this and that.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/multimed ... paign.html
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/constitu ... -mann.html
Who is Shwe Mann? He is the previous military regime general. Did he not? So what do you expect from dictatorship General’s comment.
Here’s another puppet saying constitution change will cause serious danger just like General Ne Win excuse of “emergency” military coup that lasted 26 years of his rule.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/burmas-r ... anger.html

Military personals are actually militarized mindset living in a confinement of Barrack Box where their action and lifestyle is Box into one Command and that is like a dictatorship mentality. All military personals must “obey” the chain of command without free thinking of its own. Right or wrong you just do it when the superior commander or officer tells you so. This the opposite of democratic thinking where freedom of thoughts, expression is highly regarded and respected while in military mindset you are bound to the order of your superior whether right or wrong and do not think on your own but listen and do what your chain of command said.
http://elevenmyanmar.com/index.php?opti ... Itemid=384
I do not blame the young Myanmars who will be the leaders of tomorrow for wanting genuine freedom to pursuit for happiness and knowledge and rejects the ideas of militant minds imposing unjust laws. That is the very reason I had said Burmese Military must go back to their original source, where they truly belongs……………Barracks!
As long as Burmese military interfere in politics, Burma will always have problems and can even back track and back fire diving again into Chaos. But this time Burma will not survive for China will swallow Burma alive! There will be no more Burma but province of China in the future. Burma is gone, finished!

Here is the clear cut evidence of Chinese occupying Burmese territory which Burmese military can’t do anything but fold their arms and watch China swallowing Burma bit by bit, chunk by chunk until Burma is dead!
http://www.mizzima.com/mizzima-news/mya ... government
I will say again and again. Burmese military is afraid of China and Chinese military and they will be the slaves of China forever!
Here is another factor China is swallowing Burma with debt.
http://www.efeedlink.com/contents/11-18 ... -b411.html

Union of Burma was "fine" when the Burmese Military stays in their Barracks. In fact Union of Burma was the leading and prosperous nation in 1950s an independent, sovereign and democratic nation govern by able genuine civilian governance until the military then commander General Ne Win (1st Dictator) stage a military coup in 1962 and rule with dictatorship method diving the country nose down to the poorest nation on Earth. So far the Burmese military is still holding power on to the State Power with "costumes" guided Parliament not to mention the Green Uniforms roaming inside the parliament for what? Some terrorists inside the Parliament and for "security reason"?. These anti-freedom elements already declare there will be some serious danger if they amend their Constitution. Here we go again (Ronald Reagan's famous remarks). Another "emergency" steps to take and will repeat another 26 years? C'mon people, this is 21st Century and Burmese Military is living in the 20th Century barely come out of world war 2 ???
So my point is Burmese Military mingling in politics is the problem, not the solution. Military must completely stay out of it. Then only Burma will enjoy the fruits of freedom and democracy back to the original status.
The State Power MUST stay in the hands of its PEOPLE, no one else! Period, like it or not.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/n ... -kyi-burma

Aung San Suu Kyi stayed and proved long enough to be a worthy candidate to enter the contestant for Burma’s presidency (2015) after all it is her biological father who had founded this nation not to mention he had given his life for his country.
I told you so (Nyinway's remarks). I am in no rush visiting Burma since the quasi civilian government take over (actually since my last visit 2001) for my wisdom tells me to “wait & watch” how Burma so called “reform” is doing to implement true democracy and freedom.

Halloween Costume East Asia Summit 2014.

I told you so. Burmese Military General is likely to become next President thus another 5 years of Military ruling will be done in the so called “reform” Myanmar. First Thein Sein for 5 years and next Min Aung Hlaing or Shwe Mann all Military Generals takes turns as Presidents of Myanmar. This is a blatant BS. The military will keep on prolonging their grip as much as they can and I presume another 75 years is likely before real democratic change is allowed by the military which means 2089 will be the year for civilians to rule Burma.
http://www.bayoubuzz.com/us-news/item/7 ... al-chances
Who is this parliament chief? He is a Top General (3rd in line from the top) in the previous military dictatorship government known as SPDC.
I bet 2015 install President will be either Military Commander in Chief General Min Aung Hlaing or Ex-General third in line of previous illegal military regime SPDC General Shwe Mann now acting like speaker of who?
Halloween Costumes Summit in Asia.

While Asian Summit is like a Halloween Costume Contest where leaders wearing different kind of Costumes, Communist China is waiting in the wing to swallow one by one alive.

Another buying time for 5 more years for military dominate http://elevenmyanmar.com/index.php?opti ... Itemid=354
Military tactics to hold on to power and politics.
Actually the Rangoon Arts and Science University now Yangon University is a “Crime Scene” area. The vacant lot at the main entrance of the University still shows how the Burmese Military blow up the Students Union Hall and kills the students occupying there.
Here is the Google Map of the vacant lot that sits on the right of the entrance to the University where the Students’ Union Hall was demolished by the Burmese military led by General Ne Win.

The Union Hall was at the right of the main entrance. See the vacant land? That is the site of the University Students’ Union Hall.

Burma must get rid of military mingling with politics if she really and truly want genuine democracy.

07 - 07 - 1962

The beginning of freedom and democracy, the fight started by Rangoon Arts and Science University against Burmese Military who destroy not only the Universities/Education System but the entire country itself by taking the State Power at gun point and rule through many decades in many shapes or forms including changing clothes and deceiving the world with many bogus agendas.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1962_Rango ... y_Protests
As long as Burmese military involved in politics, there will not be true and genuine freedom but a nation under Chinese authorities forever.
Now the younger generation does not forget the founding fathers’ fight for freedom in Education.
Thanks to ADB!
http://www.irrawaddy.org/business/adb-l ... -road.html
This is a stupid project. Did the Stupid authorities understand by building roads at the wrong location, it can damage the habitat of flora and fauna that lives in the surrounding area? Stupid people never know or understand. All they know is build a road. That's how skin deep their knowledge is and yet these stupid authorities wants to control the University Students? No wonder Burma lags behind.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/business/snubb ... -link.html
This is a long overdue project that should be done 50 years ago.

What do you expect from a military infested government?

Burmese military is like a parasite that is eating away Myanmar.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/rangoon- ... n-law.html
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/student- ... rsity.html

My message is being heard loud and clear. By reading these news, it is about time the University Students get rid of the Military from politics once and for all.

http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/rangoon- ... ampus.html
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/teachers ... -bill.html

Universities are the breeding grounds for future politicians NOT tatmadaw (military). These militant fools never learn the lesson and that is why Burma is so backward, down and out. Military belongs to Barracks and University belongs to Governance.
http://www.mmtimes.com/index.php/nation ... ourse.html
The future Presidents and Vice Presidents MUST be University Students with broad and deep knowledge where wise and smart judgment is needed to lead the Nation well into the 21st Century. NOT the militant mindset that focus on killing only.
The military wants to run the nation with their skin deep knowledge and understanding and that is the very reason Burma is down and outdated not to mention the backwardness shackle to the past forever!

This is the clear evidence and example how a fraudulent reform is doing in Myanmar.

The Song Remains the Same.

Myanmar is doing the merry go round musical chair game.

Shwe Mann is third in line in the previous illegal military regime government. Thein Sein is fourth in line. Than Shwe is first and Maung Aye is second. All of them are Burmese Buddhist Generals. So now according to the installed government, Thein Sein is first and Shwe Mann is what? Speaker? Well, it looks like the merry go round musical chair game is on again. Who will sit the Chair in 2015? certainly not Aung San Suu Kyi. I don’t expect much for it is very easy to predict. The Chair will be sit by a military or ex military officer no matter who he is and the ONE party system the USD Party will continue govern the nation. Where is the “other” Party or Parties to contest and confront? Where is the diversity? Where is Democracy? It is just a cosmetic design to name and register “many” political parties in fact and in reality ONLY one party is standing out and ruling the nation. If you are a Christian forget about it. You have no chance at all for lifetime to become the first. No matter how good or highly able and qualify person you are, your chances to become number one, first or the President is lost forever in Burma/Myanmar. And yet they called it "Democracy". Burma is only for Buddhists, no body else.
I remember during the late US President Ronald Reagan (my favorite President) years, he said to Soviet (now Russia) President to bring down the BERLIN WALL. Well, here we go again (Reagan's popular remarks)........In Burma, to the Burmese President or Presidents to bring down the BUDDHIST WALL ! Sounds familiar?
Here are the facts.
From 1962 - 1974 beginning of military men rules (12 yrs).
From 1974 - 1988 the military uniform changed to civilian clothes but same military men rules (14yrs)
From 1988 - 2010 the civilian clothes changed to military uniform but same military men rules (22 yrs)
From 2010 - date the military uniform changed to civilian clothes but same military men rules (4 yrs)
So what has truly changed? Not cosmetic changed this or that but real changed? None so far as I see it.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/house-sp ... tions.html
Just like in the 1970s, the Generals take off their uniforms and act like civilians and rule the nation with another form in a civilian way to show a deceptive attempt to legalized the military rule. In the 1970s, there is only ONE party and that party is Burma Socialist Program Party and now there is only ONE party dominating and that party is Union Solidarity Development Party. What’s new? Nothing to me. In Burmese saying it is “A-Yar-Gyi” and “Ka-Lar-Gyi” which means a slightly name change but the same person. Same goes with the country’s name which is Burma and Myanmar for it is the same country with different names.
Cartoon picture of Chinese swallowing Burma/Myanmar.

I know it can take as long as half a Century or longer to happened but I will keep on reminding that the "wrong" needs to be corrected to "right" >>> Burmese Military relinquish their hold or seat on State Power Politics and goes back to where they really belong >>> Barracks. Truth is Truth no matter how long it takes. It may take a decade or a century or a millennium but truth will prevail in the end and truth NEVER compromise.

Let’s face the TRUTH.

USDP was created by the military regime that rules the nation before. This civilian version of military installed party (before it was NOT a political party) has the support and backing of Burmese military therefore, they endorse the military first and foremost but as history, reality and truth kicks in, they too must change and need to relinquish their hold or seat to the political party that the people choose and endorse. A political party created by, of, for the people of Myanmar is needed in the governance, ruling circle legally and officially “elected” BY the people (not military Generals).
http://elevenmyanmar.com/index.php?opti ... Itemid=361
Already there are controversial and realization that the military role in the politics must reduced and recourse for history and reality does not match with Burma’s situation among the International society. If you look at the world, very rare, seldom and few did a country ruled by Military ever succeeded in prosperity and advancement. Majority of the countries of the world is ruled by Civilians including Russia, China, India, Japan, UK, US, France, Germany and so on. Advancement and modernization is pioneer by Civil Obedience, Statuary Laws. Burmese Military is OVERLOADED because they wants to involved and control in every aspect of human life leaving human dignity next to zero. They (Burmese Military) involved in Sex, Marriage, Politics, Defense, War Mongering, Attacks, Oppression, Economics, Business, Banking etc, even in every day life of the people which is too much overloaded, over reached, over act, over everything thus they cannot defend their nation (their only duty) against any foreign aggression and their motherland have been chip away here and there with the influx of Chinese, Indians, Bengalis you name it Burma has it.
In Burmese saying, "Tatmadaw" is like a "Bago Saar" (meaning, the Burmese Military is like a Salt made in Bago) which indirectly means they wants to involve in every aspect of life from Sex to Politics.
To me it is long over due the Military needs to go back to where they belong……Barracks!

The truth came out with pictures. Thanks to Htein Win. These pictures are valuable because it is recorded in Burma’s history (past). The truth remains the same. The truth can never changed no matter how long it is hidden.
http://www.mmtimes.com/index.php/nation ... neral.html
Now as Myanmar slowly opens and become transparent, she is releasing and revealing what had really happened.
U Thant Secretary General of United Nations, the world’s most respect Icon is treated like dirt by General Ne Win, the first dictator of Burma. See how rude and brutal Burmese military is.
Another fake democratic reform
http://www.mmtimes.com/index.php/in-dep ... cians.html

Burma's Parliament. Does it look like Democratic with Military Officers duty is politics and not military affairs? No wonder fighting is going on inside Burma to this very moment. Truly Burma's Military is OVERLOADED in involving everything in Burma. They are NOT specializing in defense any more !
BurmaMilitaryMPs2.jpg (117.86 KiB) Viewed 5823 times
To me it (Burma's Parliament) looks like mixing Apples and Oranges, 2 different categories.

Total Military Personal Rank and File (Top Ten)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... _personnel
1) North Korea = 7.6 Million
2) Vietnam = 5.5 Million
3) South Korea = 5.1 Million
4) India = 4.7 Million
5) China = 3.9 Million
6) Russia = 3.2 Million
7) Iran = 2.3 Million
8) US = 2.2 Million
9) Brazil = 2.0 Million
10) Taiwan = 1.9 Million

Although US Military personals total rank 8th in the World, US Military Might is the Strongest in the world with ultra advance weaponry system back by specialized Military hardware and tactics.

A free and democratic nation like US will not tolerate interference of politics or military involvement in education field. I am NOT surprise of US base John Hopkins University to pull out of Myanmar.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/us-unive ... rpart.html
The Burmese Military sees University Students as threats and that is the very reason the military closed down Universities across the nation (and high schools) creating a “Dumb and Deaf” Myanmar Generation that makes Myanmar a “behind smeller” of International Standards.
Once again Myanmar Students are standing up against restriction and repression on Educational Freedom.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/students ... rsity.html
Revolution and Liberation is in the blood of Myanmar Students no matter what generation it is.
This US prestigious University pull out is a great loss to Myanmar's future as a nation. An indication that Myanmar will always be a "follower" rather than the "leader" in world stage. A nation full of ignorant incumbents ruling with greed for power and wealth and NOT with intellectuality and wisdom.

As I had said all along and I am 100% right that the current quasi government core value is the same as the first dictator General Ne Win’s Revolutionary Council regime. In other words, the same liquor with different bottle with different name brand.
http://elevenmyanmar.com/index.php?opti ... Itemid=384
The Burmese Government since 1962, always treat the Students as if the Students are NOT humans and their enemy. The Government love the Chinese more than they love their Students. How can a nation like this can become the forefront leader in regional nations let alone a continent or the world???
http://www.mizzima.com/mizzima-news/mya ... -in-yangon
Burma or Myanmar will always be the follower of other nations and their citizens working overseas as “servants” or “housemaids” or even as “slaves” with a Government like this. No wonder the Burmese Government (in different shape or form or name) give the country’s natural resources to other nations and let their citizens live on left over and scraps. No wonder the Burmese people are poor while the Chinese, Indians, Thais etc are rich when a Government like this ruled since 1962 to date.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/88-gener ... otest.html
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/plainclo ... ngoon.html
It is about time for the Government let the Students do whatever they want to do freely. The Government is still using “violence” tactics like in the old days of the 1960s.
I am glad the Burmese are softening the stance towards their ethnic brothers and sisters.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/88-gener ... eform.html
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/nld-88-g ... eform.html
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/88-gener ... eaker.html
I do not see any single nation Where the Government hates and against their own Students and treat them as dirt for more than half a Century. Burma/Myanmar is the ONLY country on Earth that does that.

The Burmese military wants their militarymen (ex or current) to hold the State Power in their hands.
I told you so. The same liquor in different bottle. The liquor remains the same no matter where it is put. New brand bottle of same brand different bottle.
http://elevenmyanmar.com/index.php?opti ... Itemid=361
The above link explains my insight that Myanmar has the same government with different bottle.
I was right all along. I had lived in Burma too long for NOT to be fooled by military apparatus that still runs the nation. The Burmese military is so deeply polluted with politics that they can't even protect, defend and conquer their own land, especially the border areas. Other nations both large and small can control their respective lands right to the border. Myanmar is control by "other" Armies rather than the so called "Tatmadaw". By interfering in the politics, Tat-ma-daw has become Taint-ma-daw a military that is NOT able to defend and protect its motherland right to the border. That is one of the reason that Myanmar reform is NOT impressive for me so far. I still hope Myanmar ruling circle (of militarymen) will come to their sense and went back to the barracks and do their duty and job which is effective, able and strong defending its motherland, especially from neighboring encroachment. First of all they had no brains and then they also lacks in modern weapons thus the Burmese military is no better than just a "warlord status" where neighboring military is superior than them.

A country and its army within a country. Wa will not back down if needed to confront the Tatmadaw but Tatmadaw will back down in confronting Wa. The reason….Myanmar’s Boss China is backing the Wa. Case Closed! It is a shame Myanmar military cannot defend Myanmar, their own motherland let alone stand or defend against foreign invasion/aggression. That much Myanmar Tatmadaw is so weak and disable.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/ethnic-p ... itory.html
This is a slap on the face to Myanmar Government how ineffective they are in their own country. Wa takes the place of Tatmadaw now by having a Conference of their own WITHOUT the consent and approval of Myanmar Government/Military. Wa is acting like an independent country with the backing of China.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/ethnic-g ... -area.html

Another Chinese inspire rebel group (Mongla) says it is better WITHOUT the rule of Burmese Authority or Tatmadaw.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/multimedia-bur ... pment.html
See how weak Burmese military is? They can’t even conquer their own land let alone defend from foreign stronger forces. Not a chance. All they do is bully the unarmed innocent citizens of their own. What a foolish act.

1962, The year that Burmese General Ne Win Army took over the democratically elected civilian government by gun point!. The month is March and pretty soon in July the Rangoon University Students answer in reaction that brings the crisis head on.
This date is what it all begins. The gunning down of University Students by the first Dictator Ne Win military forces in cold blood. Under his (1st dictator of Burma) rule, Burma dwindle down to the least poorest nation on Earth.
http://www.irrawaddy.org/burma/student- ... ation.html
I am amazed that the young Myanmars (now) are still honoring the fallen University Students on 7-7-1962.
The entrenched military still has an enormous influence AND power to this day.
7-7-62 remembrance by young Myanmar students.
