British teacher found dead after brutal attack

A BRITISH teacher has been found dead at an apartment in the city of Yangon in Myanmar.

The 45-year-old appeared to have been the victim of a brutal attack as he had wounds to his head and chest.

It is not yet known if anyone has been arrested and the identity of the man, who is understood to have been an international teacher, has not been released.

Burma police looking for colleague of British teacher found dead in Yangon apartment

A British teacher whose colleague died after they spent the night drinking together is at the centre of a manhunt in Burma.

Gary Ferguson, 47, also from the UK, was found dead in his colleague's apartment in Yangon, police said.

His wife reportedly found him with head and chest wounds in the suspect's flat after he failed to return home.

Harris Binotti: Burmese police name British teacher wanted over murder of colleague

Police say Mr Binotti and his colleague Peter Gary Ferguson had been out drinking on Friday night.

An international manhunt is underway to find a British teacher who fled Burma after a colleague was found dead in his flat.

Burmese police said Interpol would take over the search for 25-year-old Harris Binotti, who worked at an international school in the country’s largest city Yangon.

Peter Gary Ferguson, a 47-year-old British teacher at the same school, was found dead on Sunday with wounds to his head and chest.
